The Great Falls Mill site in Rockingham, North Carolina, was originally developed as Richmond Manufacturing Company in the 1830s. During the Civil War, the original mill complex was burned in 1865. The facility was later rebuilt in brick on its foundations. The surviving brick walls and arched openings stand along Falling Creek.
Private property. The ruins are closed to the public while we work to make the site safer and consider future development. Please respect boundaries.
